Yummy Math
We created 3D shapes using wine gums and toothpicks!
We had to make a creation then share what shape it was, describe how many faces, edges and vertices it had then have our photo taken and then start creating again!
The best part was getting to eat the wine gums at the end.
We can't wait until we do yummy mathematics again.

Sneeze Safe
We investigated how we can keep safe when sneezing this winter.
There are 4 very important steps.
1. TRAP IT
2. BIN IT
3. WASH IT
4. DON"T EAT IT
We did an experiment where we sprinkled glitter on Leigh's hand and she walked around greeting her classmates and shaking ther hands.
Once she had greeted the whole class we had a look at our hands and discovered that everyone had glitter on their hands.
This represented the bugs that we carry on our hands when we sneeze into them!
Our Science Table
A popular spot in the mornings is our science table.
Book Week Parade
FLUBBER...

The Oosterdam Cruise Ship
Wow! It's huge and so close.
We sat in the warm sand and sketched the cruise ship.
What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
As we sketched and added the finishing touches to our pictures we wondered what it would be like on board the massive ship. On the way back to school Mrs Bava said we should google the Oosterdam cruise ship. We had a look online and WOW! It looks amazing. We wished we could go on board, maybe next time???
Off on another adventure!
